By in the first place helping carers of people with dementia to be able to care for their loved ones at home. When this is no longer possible dementia patients should be placed in hospitals that their loved ones can reach, and just as with some enlightened hospices there should be guest bed rooms for family members and carers to use.

Britain spends £24 billion on housing benefit and less than £1.5 billion on building homes. Do you support an increase in the social housebuilding grant to £5 billion a year to build homes?

organisation: Generation Rent

yes, however I would like to see 10 affordable homes built in every village to allow young people in rural communities to find homes in the places they live and old people to downsize in the communities that they know and love. This would also lead to more sustainable communities with more people to use the shop or the pub if there still is one, to attend church and to use the bus service. I am also keen on new towns, custom built for the modern era.
