Absolutely. House price rises are directly linked to land prices and in particular the lack of taxation on 'banked land' and also buy to let policies and tax relief on those. Finally the lack of a serious house building programme for at least 10 years

The State needs to have information for the administration of services like tax/benefits/voting etc. There is no need for private companies to have information, unless people explicitly give it to them

Yes..particularly around the build/energy efficiency and costs

Britain spends £24 billion on housing benefit and less than £1.5 billion on building homes. Do you support an increase in the social housebuilding grant to £5 billion a year to build homes?

Absolutely do agree that we need to have a very large social housebuilding programme that we have not seen in the last 10 years at least. I'm not sure about the cost of the programme

Private sector landlords receive over £27bn a year in housing benefit and tax breaks. Would you support a rent tax that recouped up to a third of this to fund new housing supply?
